What Sunk knows about you.
Sunk is an Android app made by evrrun, a small studio in India. This page says plainly what it reads, what leaves your phone, and how to have it deleted.
What stays on your phone
To count time, Sunk reads Android's usage statistics: which app is in front and for how long. It shows a small timer over the apps you choose. None of this leaves your phone: not the names of your apps, not your screen time per app, not anything you see or type inside them. Sunk cannot see what is on your screen.
What leaves your phone
The heartbeat, which you can turn off in Settings. When on, Sunk sends a few numbers so we know the app is working:
- a random install id made by the app (it is not tied to your name, account or phone number)
- app version, Android version, phone make and model, and country (from your SIM or language setting)
- your plan (Free or Pro), whether the timer is on, how many apps you watch, your total minutes today across those apps, and how many times you hid the timer
Feedback, only when you send it: your answers, a 1 to 5 score, your email if you choose to give it, plus the install id, app version and phone model.
Purchases of Sunk Pro are handled by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details.
Where it is kept and who sees it
Heartbeats and feedback are stored with Supabase, our database provider. Only the two people at evrrun can read them. We do not sell data, show ads, or share it with anyone else.
Deleting it
Your install id is shown in Sunk under Settings. Email it to teamevrrun@gmail.com and we will delete every row tied to it within 30 days. Uninstalling Sunk removes everything stored on your phone.
Children
Sunk is not made for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
